"Didn't last long at all"
I bought a quilt cover from Adairs and it looked really nice at first, so I was happy with it. But after just a few washes, the stitching started coming loose and the fabric felt rougher than it should've.
For the price, I expected it to hold up way better. I'm disappointed and I don't think I'll be buying bedding from them again

"Not the best in-store experience"
The store itself was fine and had what I needed, but the service wasn’t great. I felt like the staff kind of ignored me, and when I asked a question, they seemed a bit annoyed. It wasn’t a huge deal, but it definitely made the visit less pleasant.

"My order issue took really ages to get sorted"
They did finally fix my order issue, but it was really way too slow. I’m glad it got resolved in the end, but the whole thing took much longer than it should have

"I’ll be honest, I kind of assumed..."
I’ll be honest, I kind of assumed the bedding would feel a lot nicer based on the photos and the price. It looked great online, so I figured it was going to be one of those “worth the splurge” purchases, but when it arrived, it just felt average.

For what I paid, I expected better quality and something that seemed like it would last longer. Maybe I judged too quickly from the website, but I’ve definitely seen similar stuff for less elsewhere. I wouldn’t be in a hurry to buy from them again.

"Click and collect was fine, but definitely not speedy"
I ordered a few bits for the house using click and collect. Once I actually got there, pickup was easy enough, no real drama at all. But I swear the ready-to-collect email took absolutely forever to come through. The staff were nice, definitely friendly enough, just not exactly moving at lightning speed. I’d use it again for sure, but only if I 100% wasn’t in a rush

I bought some bedding from Adairs it looked really nice on the bed and felt soft at first. I was actually quite happy with it for a little while. But after a few washes, the fabric started feeling rough and the stitching began coming loose, which was annoying. It’s still decent-looking, I guess, but for the price I expected it to hold up much better. Bit disappointed overall...

"Still waiting on my refund"
I sent my quilt cover back weeks ago and I’m still having to chase the refund. What’s really frustrating is having to explain the same thing over and over every time I contact support, only to get slow replies that don’t really help. It’s been way more hassle than it should be.

I really liked the look of it when it arrived, but the fit was way smaller than I expected. I’m not sure if I just got an odd one or if the sizing runs small in general. Curious if anyone else had the same issue before I try ordering a size up...

"The website was honestly a pain to use"
I was trying to shop on adairs.com.au and it was just... I mean, it was way more frustrating than it needed to be. Pages were taking forever to load, the filters kept resetting, and when I went back to my cart, some of the items had randomly changed. I also couldn’t sign in properly on my phone. After about 20 minutes of messing around, I just gave up and bought what I needed somewhere else. For such a big store, the website feels really clunky.

"Really comfy bedding, just one small issue"
I grabbed a quilt cover and sheet set from adairs.com.au i’m happy with it. The cotton feels soft and comfy, not scratchy at all, which was the main thing I was worried about??

Delivery did take a little longer than I thought it would, but it wasn’t a huge deal. The colours were also really close to the photos online, so no weird surprises there.

The only reason I wouldn’t give it a full 5 stars is that the fitted sheet is a bit snug on my mattress. Still, it feels nice to sleep in and I’d probably buy from them again

"Customer service takes forever to respond"
I’m fed up with Adairs customer service. I had an issue with my order, sent an email, and then just sat around waiting for days without getting a proper answer. I followed up too, because at that point I was getting impatient, but the reply still didn’t help at all.

Online shopping is supposed to be straightforward, but the second something goes wrong, it feels like you’re on your own chasing them for basic support. I don’t have the patience for that, and I won’t be ordering from adairs.com.au again.

I joined Linen Lovers mostly for the discounts, thinking, okay, let’s see if this actually saves me anything. it already has. Some of the better deals seem to be members-only, which makes the membership feel worthwhile. My only little gripe is the emails come through a bit too often, and I’m like, alright, I get it, there’s a sale. But overall, it’s been good value.

"Showed up way faster than expected"
I ordered from Adairs thinking it would actually take about a week, but it turned up in just a couple of days. Super easy delivery, no hassle at all, and I was really happy with how quick it was.

Got my Adairs order today and everything was spot on. Sizes and colours were exactly what I chose, and nothing was missing, which is always a relief. Happy with the whole thing.

"Colour looked totally different in person"
I ordered a quilt cover from Adairs because the photos made it look like a soft beige, which would’ve been perfect for my room. When it arrived, it was much more yellow/cream, so it just doesn’t match at all. The quality seems fine, but I’m a bit disappointed because I feel like I’ve wasted time and now I have to deal with returning it. Frustrating when the online colour looked so different

"Looks nice online, but be a bit careful"
Adairs does have some really lovely designs, and I’ll admit their website is easy to scroll through when you’re looking for home inspiration. The colours and styling ideas are pretty, but just a heads-up, a lot of it can start to feel a bit samey or overly trendy after a while. I’ve also found that some things look noticeably better in the photos than they do in real life, so I’d be careful before getting too carried away. There are definitely nice pieces if you pick the right range, but I’d suggest checking items in person if you can.

"Sales really aren’t as good as they make them seem"
I usually only bother shopping here when there’s a discount on, but it’s frustrating. Half the time the items I actually want are either excluded from the sale or already sold out by the time I check. Even with the discount, a lot of the prices still feel high. It’s annoying, and I’d kind of expect some acknowledgment or apology when the sale ends up being that disappointing

"Shipping cost confirmed what I already thought"
I was about to order a few home bits from Adairs, but once I got to checkout and saw the shipping cost, I just closed the tab. i already had it in my head that their delivery fees can be a bit much, and this pretty much confirmed it for me. I don’t mind paying for shipping, but for a simple order it felt way too high and totally killed the deal. Ended up buying the same sort of stuff somewhere else instead. Really disappointing.

"Packaging was a mess"
I was already feeling mentally drained, so opening the delivery and finding the box completely crushed with the bedding bag ripped open was just frustrating. Not the experience I was hoping for.
